I believe that there are many similarities between Mandela and King’s struggles. First, they are both fighting for freedom. In Mandela’s speech he is explaining all the great qualities that we humans have. He refers a lot to hope leading us forward in life. He also speaks about how god created us all with our own little magical spark! In Martin’s speech he was pretty much thriving for better relationships and attitudes between people in our world. They both have very strong feelings about racial justice.
